multicolorfits.get_cd_matrix(hdrin, crot=None)[source]#

Calculate the CDn_m matrix from CDELTS and CROTA/CROTA2

Parameters:

  • hdrin (astropy.io.fits.header) – Header object

  • crot (float) – Rotation in degrees, if you know it but the header doesn’t correctly have it

Returns:

float, float, float, float – CD1_1, CD1_2, CD2_1, CD2_2
